What is a form
The Data Capture Form enables you to interact directly with your customers via your QR codes on pack! This is done by adding a module to your landing pages, which you can customise for which data you want to ask your customers to share with you. When your customers scan your QR codes and are sent to your landing page, they can follow the instructions to fill in the form, then send it to you via the push of a button. This is useful if you want to drive repeat purchase via coupons or discount codes, or if you want to run a competition for your customers, etc.
How to set up a Form
Go to the Landing Pages tab and either create a new landing page or edit an existing one..
Add the component Form..
You will now see the form displaying on your landing page, with options to edit the content and styling of the form..
You can add other input fields to the form, for example customer address, by clicking the Add field button, then selecting the field you require.
You can edit the styling of the form (e.g. font colour, font size, background colour, button colours etc) by clicking on the paint palette icon in the top right corner of the module
Once you've finished editing the form, save the landing page. You can come back and edit the form any time, and any changes will reflect immediately on your landing page.
Email confirmation
You can set up your forms so that an automated email confirmation receipt is sent to your customers, letting them know you have received their form entry.
When adding an email field to your form, simply switch on the send email receipt toggle.
If you are running a competition, you can prevent customers from making multiple form submissions by setting the toggle Prevent duplicate email entries.
Retrieving customer data
Once your products are live, customers who scan your QR codes will be able to complete the form on the landing page and submit it. To retrieve the data, go to the Landing Pages tab, and click on the ellipsis (three dots) next to the landing page you added the Form to. From the dropdown menu you will see the option to download Form entries. Select this, and it will download a CSV file containing data such as GTIN (barcode number), product name, timestamp and the data input by the customer, for example their name and email address.
